Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house.
And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet and listened to his teaching.
But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.”
But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:38-42
The most important thing!
I have so many things I want to do, and was asking God what the most important thing is. I immediately received this answer, and a lot more!
What is the most important thing?
The most important thing is to be close to me.
Without me you can do nothing.
With me, you can do everything I ask.
You know the things I’ve given you to do.
I will give you the energy and anointing you need.
There seems to be a lot to do, but don’t strive or worry.
Some things won’t get done. I know this.
You need times of rest.
I don’t want you to feel you’re wasting time when you do relaxing things.
I know you need these things.
Nothing is wasted in my kingdom. I will use everything.
I am perfecting you, my beloved, and I love you so much.
I know you’re longing for me, and longing for my coming.
I long for you too, and I want to come and take you.
I’m poised, waiting for my father to say it’s time!
I long for you even more than you long for me!
I long to take you into my arms, and I will!
It will be as you imagine, and so much more!
I am longing for my bride, and I rejoice to see her doing my will, doing what I have asked her to do.
Don’t be stressed.
I don’t want you to stress or worry about what you’re not doing.
Don’t worry. Trust me.
Flow in me, and you will do my will.
I don’t want you to do anything outside of me.
Rest in what I have called you to.
Rest in me, my beloved!
I love you so much, my bride!
I am leading you into deeper trust.
Repent when you know you’ve been doing things in your own strength.
In heaven, this won’t happen, as all your pride and self interest will be gone!
I am coming for you quickly!
It won’t be long!
I won’t delay.
