When we are transformed!

Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. 1 Corin 15:51-52

Do you ponder the rapture, what it will be like for us, and what it will be like for those who are left behind?

Do you, as I do, contemplate the mystery of the rapture happening “in the twinkling of an eye”, and how that will feel?

What will people around us see? Will we just disappear, leaving our clothes behind, like in the movies? Or will people hear the trumpet, see us transforming, and see Jesus in the sky?

Will we, as we’re going about our lives, suddenly be standing before Jesus?

Will we see Jesus standing in the midst of a great crowd, or will we meet him personally?

Glimpse of possibilities

I had a “glimpse” that, although our transformation and the rapture will be instantaneous, we will be aware of what’s happening, for in God there is no time, so what is instantaneous to us in our earthly forms could be “slowed down” in our transformed bodies.

Perhaps space and dimension are also earthly things: if so, it could appear to us that we are each meeting Jesus personally, individually.

Our personal, individual relationships with Jesus will surely continue in heaven? Perhaps we will also have a profound awareness of every person in heaven, as Jesus’ body is one, and we are to be made one with him.

…..that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one….. John 17:21-23

Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church. Eph 5:31-32

I received the following word this morning.

I will rejoice

when my father gives me the word to come and meet you!

You will rejoice

when you see me – when you meet me in the clouds!

You will be overwhelmed, but not confused, for you were made for this! Joy will fill you, and peace as you’ve never known, for there will be no trace of fear. You won’t be disoriented, for your joy will be complete. You will be complete.

People around you will see you glowing with increasing brightness, and I will appear to them as fire in the sky. You will see a glorious light, and you will be aware of your transformation. You will also have an awareness of others being transformed. You will know that I’m coming, and as you are lifted, with angels accompanying you, I will become clearer, and, in no time, you will be standing before me!

When you are transformed, it will be impossible for you to sin. The transformation will feel wonderful!

You will know me, and you will know my love, with nothing to get in the way. It will be impossible for you to get distracted.

Be ready, my bride! I am coming soon!

See my story about the rapture.
