Come out of her, my people

Something isn’t right with my church!

Are you part of a church, and questioning some of the things happening there?

Perhaps there are questionable doctrines surfacing?

Are there manifestations, supposedly of the Holy Spirit, that make you feel uncomfortable?

Are you becoming aware that something “isn’t right”.

Are you discerning that there is strong error in your church?

God’s judgement is coming to the churches, and if you are discerning that there is strong error in your church, that things are happening that don’t appear to be of God, then it’s time to ask God (if you haven’t already), wether he wants you to get out.

Apostacy within the church

There’s a movement happening today that isn’t of God, and many, many Christians are sadly being deceived. See this post.

God is calling people out.

God is calling people out of the church, out of the error, away from false teachers and ministers.

It’s difficult, especially if you have friends and activities there, but God knows this.

Being a Christian means that we give everything to God, including our lives. We count the cost.

You can’t change what’s happening!

Maybe, like I did, you think that you can change things by staying there.

It’s possible that God may have you there for a season, but please pray seriously, and often, about this, as staying for this reason can be a deception in itself, and could lead to more heartbreak than is necessary.

It’s very unlikely that things will change, as this is a worldwide apostasy that’s happening, and you could end up being painfully rejected, and possibly making enemies, unnecessarily.

Come out of her, my people,

lest you take part in her sins,

lest you share in her plagues;

for her sins are heaped high as heaven,

and God has remembered her iniquities.

Rev 18:4-5

The church, as a whole, has become part of “Babylon”, the world system.

God doesn’t want us to be part of this. We’re to stand for truth.

In these last days, standing for truth will become increasingly more difficult.

Church should be a safe place to go, but it has, unfortunately, become caught up with false and dangerous doctrines, and this is part of the great falling away spoken of in 2 Thess 2:3-12 and 1Tim 4:1-2

Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.

Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time.

For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way.

And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming.

The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders,

and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.

Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false,

in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

2 Thess 2:3-12

Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared…..

1 Tim 4:1-2

We need to be discerning

We need, more than ever, to take everything we hear, see and read to the Lord in prayer, and we need to know our scriptures.

  • Pray for discernment.
  • Pray that God will lead you into all truth.
  • Desire truth.
  • Desire God – above ALL ELSE
