Grand Delusions

For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.

2Tim 4:3-4

In these last days we really need discernment. We need to make sure that what we believing is backed up by God’s word.

But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed. And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

2Peter 2:1-3

The church, in every denomination, has been infiltrated by leaders who are working for Satan: Satanists, Witches, Freemasons, and the Illuminati have deliberately infiltrated the church, posing as Christians, and taking leading positions of authority. Many pastors, priests, ministers, bishops, and other leaders may not be satanic “plants”, but have been led away from the truth, brainwashed by the lies and false doctrines being spread by those in high up leadership and influence.

For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Jude 1:3

For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

2Corin 11:13-14

This has been happening for a long time. It began subtly, with false teachings such as the Word of Faith movement, with the Ecumenical movement, and with many New Age teachings gradually being accepted by churches.

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.

1John 4:1-3

As these lies gained acceptance, it became easier to brainwash Christians with even more false doctrines.

The Toronto Blessing and the Lakeland revival spread worldwide, leading people into craving the couterfeit “experiences” they promoted.

Hillsong, with it’s music that fails to truly glorify and worship our Lord and Saviour, but instead tries to bring God to our level, gained acceptance throughout the world, along with many of their false teachings. This has opened the way to the music and teachings from Bethel (Jesus Culture) and IHOP Kansas City, both promoting even worse deceptions.

Now, in this present day, the truth has been muddied, watered down, and even eliminated.

For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Such a one is the deceiver and the antichrist. Watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward. Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.

2 John 1:7-9

There is so much deception now, and we need to discern wether the “Jesus” being proclaimed and the Gospel being preached, is true or false. Many are worshipping a counterfeit Jesus, and have been filled with a counterfeit spirit.

For if someone comes and proclaims another Jesus than the one we proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or if you accept a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it readily enough.

2 Corin 11:4

If anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘Look, there he is!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform signs and wonders, to lead astray, if possible, the elect. But be on guard; I have told you all things beforehand.

Mark 13: 21-23

When attending a church, we tend to look to the pastor, and we trust what he teaches. What happens when the pastor is feeding us lies mixed with truth? We gradually begin to believe the lies, and unless we are truly seeking God we will become totally brainwashed.

Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared

1Tim 4:1

Satan’s plan.

Satan has been working on many levels within humanity, and from numerous angles:

  • The New Age movement has successfully infiltrated every part of society, including churches.
  • The Family, also known as The Fellowship, (a Christian organisation), known for it’s National Prayer Breakfast, has completely infiltrated the Whitehouse, has powerful international political and religious connections and involvement, has a strong influence on many high ranking church leaders, and has links with many other organisations. Netflix has done a documentary about them, which is worth watching.
  • The New Apostolic Reformation has infiltrated most, if not all pentecostal and evangelical churches, and is also influencing denominational churches. It has successfully made an impact into major areas of society.
  • Top leading bishops, ministers and pastors of almost every church and denomination have made an alliance with the Pope, agreeing to put aside differences and to come under Papal leadership. Leaders of almost every world religion are coming together under the Pope. The present Pope has also made an impact in many other parts of society and the world.

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognise them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognise them by their fruits.

Matt 7:15-20

Satan’s ultimate plan

Satan’s ultimate plan is to form a one world religion, through which people will worship him.

The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

2Thess 2:9-12

Time is running out!

We are heading quickly towards the rapture and the tribulation. Sadly, many Christians will be left behind after the rapture: lukewarm Christians, Christians who aren’t walking in repentance and forgiveness, and Christians who are following wrong doctrines.

Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

Matt 7:21-23

Imagine this scenario:

The rapture has happened. Christians remaining on the earth are angry, confused, traumatised and scared. They are blaming their pastors, priests and ministers, and feel betrayed by them. These leaders (who are being fed lies by people in high ranking positions of authority who are working for Satan), reassure them, explaining away the rapture, and telling lies about what has actually happened to those who were taken. Believing their leaders, they will listen to more lies and deception, which will lead them into the one world religion, when they will be told it’s okay to take the mark of the beast.

Christians who attending church are in danger of missing the rapture.

I know, from experience, how easy it is to get caught up in deception and lies, to believe what you’ve been taught.

By remaining in a church where there is deception, even if you don’t agree with what’s being said and done, you are still participating in their sin.

The longer you are listening to, and are involved with these deceptions, the more difficult it will be to break free.

Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues; for her sins are heaped high as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.

Rev 18:4

  • I urge you to seek God with all your heart. Ask him to show you the truth. Ask him to reveal every error and lie, and repent of them.
  • Ask God for discernment, for a strong witness in your spirit.
  • Read the Bible, His instructions given to us!
  • Be willing to lose the things you’re comfortable with: the fellowship, the feeling of belonging, your ministry, friends and family, and your church.

In following Christ, we will experience loss.

But, in following Christ, we have so much to gain!

But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things.
