Give ALL my worries and concerns to God

Anxious thoughts

I began my prayer time this morning with anxious thoughts, worries and concerns. As He does so often, God spoke to me about my need to trust him, to place everything in His hands, and to leave it all in His hands.

Reading through the words he spoke to me, and the Scriptures I was led to read, I realised that this is a choice.

I can choose to trust God with everything.

I can choose leave everything in God’s hands.

I can choose to stop thinking about all these things, and to focus on God.

You keep him in perfect peace

whose mind is stayed on you,

because he trusts in you.

Trust in the Lord forever,

for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.

Isa 26:3-4

 

This is the word God spoke to me. I pray it will help you.

Live in me!

My child, you worry about so many things.

My desire is for you to live in my peace, to trust me completely, and to have no concerns for your life.

I want you to walk in me and with me, to live in the moment, to plan as I prompt you to plan, and to be at peace.

Trust me.

Trust me to show you what needs doing.

Trust me to lead you in every detail of your life.

You really don’t need to plan to the extent that you do.

Let me lead you.

I know everything about you.

I know your worries and concerns.

I know everything you need and want to do.

Deliberately let go of all these things.

Give them to me.

 

Cast your burden on the LORD,

and he will sustain you;

he will never permit

the righteous to be moved.

Psalm 55:22

Focus on me!

Your mind needs to be clear of the clutter so you can focus on me.

Worship and prayer will help you to focus on me.

 

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God

so that at the proper time he may exalt you,

casting all your anxieties on him,

because he cares for you.

1Peter 5:6-7

 

Peace I leave with you;

my peace I give to you.

Not as the world gives do I give to you.

Let not your hearts be troubled,

neither let them be afraid.

John 14:27
